How do I know if I have arthritis?
I have severe pain in my neck, shoulders, back, and in the back part of my head. I went to a chropractor and they took exrays. He told me that I have a very strait neck and that my muscles were very tight. I just cant believe that all of this pain is muscles, how could I be for sure without insulting the doc? I also am hyperthroidic some people have said this could be a cause of the pain. please help.
Cortisone shots, mild arthritis and water on the knee?
My doc said I have water on the knee and mild arthritis. He gave me a cortisone shot what exactly will it do for me? I am in more achy pain and i am constantly flushed since the shot, I don't feel like myself. If anyone has any thoughts on this or knows anything about it please let me know. I would like to get a little better.
What is the best and safest medication for arthritis nowadays?
I was given a prescription for Ketoprophen a few years ago and now I think I am having side effects. There were a few taken off the market a few years ago due to heart defects and my insurance wouldn't pay for one that seemed helpful.I'm wondering if there is something new I could ask my doctor about?

I had septic hip arthritis when I was a baby, will I have problems in the future?
When I was 4 months old I got a septic hip due to an immunization with a dirty needle. I had surgery on it to clean out the infection, and was left with a huge scar. I was wondering if I could have problems with that hip in the future, like needing to have hip replacement or something. I don't know much about this, so answers are appreciated.P.S...I'm only 15, not an old lady. lol.
